Sivaratri is an annual event dedicated to meditation and devotional songs. The highlight is the night vigil, in which interruption bhajan salute the passing of the night. The next day is a great Yajna and made a great vegetarian meal. Ashram Cisternino, in the province of Brindisi, is a large and by far the oldest Shiva temple in Italy, are able to prepare anything original to the very high standard.

12 Hour Kirtan

Kirtan is a form of meditation and joyful sound very exciting, especially when it is run by a good number of people gathered. Once a month, at the Krishna Temple in Florence, it takes a great jam session of Kirtan, you book in advance anyone who can lead the kirtan for half an hour or an hour. Each instrument is permitted in kirtan, each rhythm is welcome and every musical concept is at home. Those who stop for a few hours back home with a small treasure, given by the serenity and optimism in the atmosphere of the Villa is permeated. Between peacocks and cows, in the lush greenery, there is a cozy small temple open to anyone. Here you can also stop for lunch and dinner with great satisfaction.
